Simple houmous recipe 

This is so easy to make I’ve stopped buying shop bought  houmous altogether and my daughter loves it! 

Ingredients 

1 tin chickpeas 

2 garlic gloves

1-2 tsp lemon juice 

1 tbsp tahini 

1 tbsp olive oil 

Salt to taste

Water as required

Method

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend, add cold water as needed until desired consistency is achieved. 

This basic recipe is so easy to make and really delicious, and it lends itself well to additional flavours such as smoked paprika, roasted peppers or others!
